Coronavirus Outbreak Has Reach Its Peak Limit In U.S. Says The President

Trump says that the coronavirus outbreak in the United States has “passed the peak,” infecting about 632,000 of the U.S. residents. 

 

On Wednesday, during the coronavirus briefing helding in the White House, President Trump says, “While we must remain vigilant, it is clear that our aggressive strategy is working,” he added, “The battle continues, but the data suggests that nationwide we have passed the peak on new cases.”

 

According to the coronavirus data reports, Trump says now the situation is getting control, new coronavirus cases in New York are “declining,” which has a larger number of confirmed virus cases than any other states of the United States. He further added that virus cases in Denver and Detroit are becoming “flat,” and other cities “are showing great signs of success” like Philadelphia and Baltimore.  

President said, “Some states are looking at other states, and they’re saying I can’t imagine what they’re going through because they’re not in that position. They’re in very good shape,” he continued by saying that “I would say that we have 20 states, at least, but you have 29 that are in extremely good shape. You have others that are getting much better.”

 

President says he is going to discuss the reopening guidelines for the country this Thursday. Also,  the governors of the seven states that are of the East coast and three governors of the West Coast region have announced that they are going to reopen the working groups of the region and coordinate with them for the reopening guidelines. 

 

President says that “My administration is using every available authority to accelerate the development, study, and delivery of therapies,” and added that they have also been working on about 35 clinical trials for the coronavirus treatments going underway. 

 

Dr. Deborah Birx, the Response Coordinator of Coronavirus data, says that from the last six days, the rate of the new coronavirus cases has been declining all over the country. She also added that now the daily new cases have downfall from 1000 to 30 new confirmed cases in the nine states of the U.S., which is a big relief for the government as well as for citizens. 

 

Doctors also said that they have to continuously follow the social distancing for a long time so that the situation completely gets controlled.

 

She said, “Social gatherings, coming together, and there is always a chance that an asymptomatic person can spread the virus unknowingly,” she further added “To all of you that are out there that would like to join together and just have that dinner party for 20, don’t do it yet. Continue to follow the presidential guidelines.”
