The english version of Baa Baa Black Sheep also pronounced as Baba Black Sheep is originally from a French song “Ah! vous dirai-je, maman” By Louis Le Maire. Alphabet Song and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star are also from the French origion.

“Baa, Baa, Black Sheep” lyrics
(Modern Version)
Baa, baa, black sheep,
Have you any wool?
Yes sir, yes sir,
Three bags full.
One for the master,
One for the dame,
And one for the little boy
Who lives down the lane

“Baa, Baa, Black Sheep” Lyrics
(Original Version)
Bah, Bah a black Sheep,
Have you any Wool?
Yes merry have I,
Three Bags full,
One for my master,
One for my Dame,
One for the little Boy
That lives down the lane.

I remember I used to sing this poem with my uncle, and he used to ask me to be the black sheep so that we could sing it while playing. Whoa, so much good memories. You can also do the same with your kids, ask them to pretend that if they are that black sheep and then you sing and ask the question “Baa Baa Black Sheep, Have You Any Wool”? Now he can answer with the poem lines.
